‘India is a great secular country where people of various religions dwell. All the efforts to make India a Hindu nation are a severe threat to the secular system of India.’ Union minister and MP Mr. Mani Shankar Ayyer expressed these views on the occasion of release ceremony of book ‘Facts of Ayodhya Episode’ authored by Mr. Mohammed Abdur Raheem Quraishi, president All India Tameer-e-Millat and Assistant Secretary All India Muslim Personal Law Board. The book aims at enlightening the public with the facts of Babri Masjid issue.
The function held at Urdu Maskan, Khilwat, was addressed by ex-MP Mr. Mohammed Adeeb, historian and social activist Caption Pandu Ranga Reddy, Dr. Chiranjeevi and intellectuals belonging to various schools of thought and religions.
Speaking further Mr. Mani Shankar Ayyer declared the period of Muslim rulers as the golden era and claimed that the propaganda made by communal elements against the Muslim rulers was baseless. He appealed all the secular minded people of India belonging to all religions to unitedly combat with the nefarious plans of communal forces and asserted that Muslims and other nations have similar right over India as the Hindus have.
Ex-MP Mr. Mohammed Adeeb declared Babri Masjid demolition as the greatest conspiracy of communal forces to spread communal hatred in India in order to rule over the country.
Maulana Abdur Raheem Quraishi claimed that no book of history had a proof that Ram Mandir existed in Ayodhya.
