Telangana Transport Minister Mahender Reddy on Tuesday stated that the State Government has no plans to increase the fares of RTC buses.
Speaking to media persons here, the minister said people of Telangana would not be burdened by increasing the bus fares. He also announced that 12 new RTOs would be established in the State. Stating that the RTC’s bifurcation process would be completed soon, he said Corporation’s new Governing Body would be constituted within a month.
Earlier, the minister launched an App related to school buses. Through this App, people will be able to know the details of bus driver and owners. He also informed that there was a proposal to include owner’s photograph on the vehicle’s RC book. Further, the driving licenses will have the Haritha Haram logo. (INN)
