Karachi, July 13: Pakistan’s adviser to the Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz has said that Pakistan will not be involved in talks with India unless “Kashmir is part of the agenda”.

According to Express Tribune, Aziz said, while addressing the media in Islamabad, that no formal dialogue will take place with India without Kashmir issue on agenda.

He said, as he briefed on the recent meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif, that the latter raised concerns on various issues including ” India’s alleged interference in the internal matters of Pakistan particularly its continuing support for insurgency in Balochistan.”

Aziz also said that the meeting between the two Prime Ministers is not a formal start of any dialogue process but it served a significant purpose to achieve a better understanding that the two neighbours must reduce tensions and hostility. (ANI)
