Patna: Taking a jibe at Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday claimed that the Prime Minister remembered Bihar only at a time when the elections were close, and added that the latter has done nothing for the state.
“He remembered to visit Bihar when the elections are close. When the Prime Minsiter was talking about electricity in his speech then he hardly got response from audience, as they knew it’s much better now. He has done nothing for Bihar. He has already been elected by the people to serve the nation, who does he want to serve now. Does he want to take additional charge as the chief minister?” said Nitish.
He further attacked the Prime Minister for his DNA remark saying, “He does not know about the DNA of the people of Bihar. He is unaware that even one person from Bihar can take on many.”
Prime Minister Modi had earlier accused Nitish Kumar of breaking away from the NDA alliance for ‘personal gains.’
He had also said there was something wrong with Kumar’s political DNA that led him to ditch friends who once worked with him.
“I was hurt when he withdrew his support. But when he did the same thing to a Mahadalit such as Jitan Manjhi, then I figured out there is something wrong in his political DNA,” he said. (ANI)
