Hyderabad: Afshan Jabeen alias Nikki Joseph during interrogation revealed thrilling information and said that there are nine IS activists in the country. They belong to Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Jammu and Kashmir.
Afshan Jabeen is a resident of Towlichowki. She was arrested by Shamsabad Police. Intelligence Agencies have been interrogating her. She was active on social media with the name Nikki Joseph. She was attracting hundreds of youths by propagating IS ideology. A few months back, a Hyderabadi youth by name Salman Mohiuddin was also arrested by Shamsabad Police when he was proceeding to Dubai to meet her. On interrogation, Salman revealed the name of Nikki Joseph. Intelligence Agencies pressurized Dubai Authorities to send her back to India.
During the interrogation Afsha Jabeen exposed that she had opened many fake accounts on Facebook to propagate IS ideology and to spread venom against other religions. Intelligence Agencies have started searching the alleged nine activists of IS. It is reported that some of the activists have been identified and action would be taken against them soon. It may be noted that IS increased its activities in Afghanistan and Yemen after Iraq and Syria.
