NIA allowed to lie-test Udhampur attack accused

New Delhi: A Delhi court on Monday allowed the NIA to conduct a polygraph test on Udhampur terror attack accused Muhammed Naveed alias Usman.

District Judge Amarnath, during in-camera proceedings, allowed the National Investigation Agency’s plea seeking permission to conduct a polygraph test of Naveed, a Pakistani national.

According to court sources, Naveed has given his consent to the lie-detector test.

Naveed and another terrorist attacked a bus on August 5 at Narsu Nallah in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur district, killing two troopers and injuring 11 others.
