New Delhi :In what can be seen as the rise of new political equations in Delhi, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will meet other anti-BJP political parties in the national capital over tea, however Congress remains uninvited which has called a dinner to do important discussion with its MPs on the penultimate day of the Monsoon Session.

NCP chief Sharad Pawar will today have a meeting with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, JD(U) chief Sharad Yadav, SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, a development being viewed keenly in terms of emerging new political equations.

“We are meeting over tea,” Pawar responded on being asked about the agenda for the leaders from different parties getting together.

Banerjee, who arrived here today from Kolkata, will meet Pawar at his residence soon after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the evening, sources said.

Yadav will also attend the meeting, they said.

Pawar today met the Trinamool Congress chief in her party’s office inside Parliament House. Pawar was accompanied by his party colleagues Praful Patel and Tariq Anwar.

Sonia Gandhi will have an interaction with party MPs tonight, the penultimate day of the tumultuous Monsoon Session of Parliament.

Gandhi has called party MPs of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha for dinner.

Some of the top party general secretaries have also been invited for the get-together.

The meeting comes against the backdrop of continuous disruption in both the Houses of Parliament over controversies involving Lalit Modi and the Vyapam scam.
