Nepal PM election: Parliament session begins

Kathmandu, Oct 11 : Nepal’s parliament session has begun where the constituent assembly will elect the country’s new Prime Minister today.

Krishna Bhakta Pokhrel of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist) said, “All the Parliament members are enthusiastic about the election.”

“We will bring a revolutionary decision”, he added.

The Madhes-based parties in Nepal are believed to lend their support to Nepali Congress candidate Sushil Koirala in the election. (ANI)
