NDA regime going ahead with NSA talks poses a threat to national security, claims R N P Singh

New Delhi, Aug. 20: Congress leader and former Minister of State for Home R.P.N.Singh on Thursday alleged that the NDA Government is creating a difficult national security situation.

“Pakistan accuses India of initiating attacks and they wish to take revenge on us. On the other hand, they want NSA talks and want to meet Hurriyat leaders of their choice. BJP leaders should remember their electoral promises,” said Singh.

“One can see Pakistan and IS flags being hoisted in Kashmir, the PDP and BJP have taken their stands, leading to a situation that can become dangerous for national security. Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing situations that threaten national security,” he added.

Singh was reacting to Pakistan inviting Kashmiri separatist leaders to meet Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s Adviser on Foreign Affairs and National Security Sartaj Aziz when he visits India on August 23 and 24 for talks with India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. (ANI)
