Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Monday and invited him for the foundation stone laying ceremony of AP’s new capital Amravati.
Naidu requested Modi to attend the event and lay foundation stone for the State’s new capital on October 22.
Naidu, who is also the Convener of Swach Bharat programme, also submitted a report to the Prime Minister on the implementation of programme. He also requested him to hasten up the completion of pending irrigation projects in the State by providing adequate funds. He also sought clearances of projects approved as per the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014. (INN)
