Muslims must stay away from sectarian disputes

Progressive Writers’ Association (Anjuman Taraqqi Pasand Musannifeen) had united the writers against the oppression and atrocities and for freedom movement of the country in 1936 so that voice could be raised against oppression. Hence at the behest of the association the writers produced several revolutionary write-ups. The support given by Anjuman Taraqqi Pasand Musannifeen was remarkable. Today issues are different but the oppression is the same. Hence writers should raise voice against the oppression and subjugation. These views were expressed by Mr. Syed Aziz Pasha ex-MP, Mr. Syed Osman Shaheed advocate and Prof. Majeed Bedar.

Mr. Syed Osman Shaheed appealed Muslims to stay away from intra-religious sectarian disputes and fight against Hindutva forces. He told that despite being 2 Cr, Muslims have been limited to a saree and one thousand rupees while illegal occupation continues on Waqf properties worth Crores of rupees.

Several other speakers also spoke on the occasion. Eid Milap function was followed by the meeting.
