Ban liquor on the eve of “Milad-un-Nabi” – Muslim groups

Rajasthan: Muslim Students Organization of India demands ban on liquor on Milad-un-Nabi. Student took out rally from the Dargah Bazaar to district headquarters. The ban is also supported by other minority groups.

According to the report published in News 18, group of students said that Milad-un-Nabi is an auspicious occasion and we should show respect to the feelings of the community.

They also said that Milad-un-Nabi is celebrated on the eve of the birthday of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and respect to the feeling of the community is very essential.

Several memorandums have been issued in this regard.
