Muddu slams Jagan for criticizing Chandrababu

Taking a serious exception to the allegation of YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, TDP senior leader Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu today said Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was relentlessly working to help the flood affected people in the State.

Speaking to the media at NTR bhavan here on Tuesday, Muddukrishnama Naidu said the YSRCP leader’s criticism was unwarranted while the Chief Minister was working continuously for helping the flood affected people and plunged in relief works in cooperation with authorities concerned. The State government was distributing essential commodities to the affected people like during Hudhud flood havoc. During late YSR’s regime, the farmers who lost crops were paid Rs 4,000 per hectare. But now the TDP government was paying them Rs 15,000 per hectare.

Muddukrishnama Naidu expressed hope that the Centre would come forward to help financially affected Andhra Pradesh when its people are in dire straits and need immediate financial assistance. The Centre had released Rs 1000 crore to AP when Hudhud cyclone lashed the State. Union minister M Venkaiah Naidu has assured that the Centre would extend all help to A P, he said. (NSS)
