Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today said a leader going to represent Parliament from any constituency should be well educated and well versed with English and Hindi.
The Chief Minister held a review meeting with party seniors on Warangal MP candidate for November 21 bypoll. He said to have finalized the name of G Ravi Kumar. Those who did not get ticket should not remain unhappy as they will get nominated posts, he convinced other leaders. “We need to send a person, who should raise issues in Parliament in a proper way”, KCR reportedly said.
The meeting authorized KCR to announce the candidate, it is learnt. The Chief Minister also asked the leaders to work together for any candidate fielded.
Later Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari said party supremo KCR will announce the candidate of the TRS on Friday. More likely G Ravi Kumar’s name will be announced as the candidate for the Warangal Lok Sabha constituency. (NSS)
