London: Ahead of the PM Narendra Modi’s visit to UK in this week, protests against him reached British Parliament.
British-Indians projected a photo of Narendra Modi with a sword and word ‘Om’ on the UK Parliament. They also projected a message “Modi not Welcome” along with the website which are carrying protest against Modi on the Palace of Westminster. However, British officials denied any permission for the protest.
Awaaz, which is carrying the protest, also slammed PM Modi for his role in the 2002 Gujarat riots on twitter.
Meanwhile, Awaaz UK’s Suresh Grover talking to a news paper said that minorities are in constant threat in India. He also said that he wants to highlight the failures in Modi’s administration.
