Modi may say that he is a Muslim – Ghulam Nabi Azad

Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha, Ghulam Nabi Azad who is campaigning in Seeemanchal, in an interview to a news channel said that Modi may say that he is a Muslim in the last phase of Bihar election.

He claimed that nobody knows any leader of BJP in Bihar because it is Modi who is contesting the election in Bihar.

When asked about the threat of division of Muslim votes in Seemanchal, Azad said that any person who is trying to divide secular vote is helping BJP. He said that BJP is fighting election as if they are waging a war.

Reacting to the criticism that BJP is contesting on development and Grand Alliance are talking about caste, he said that he thinks Modi was wrongly briefed. He was briefed about the condition of Bihar during Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s time. He was not briefed about the developments that take place in Bihar during the UPA government. He also said that Lalu Prasad Yadav was a minister in UPA-1 and was a part of Bihar’s growth. He further said that Modi changes according to the pattern of the election, maybe during the fifth phase of Bihar election, he will say he is a Muslim.
