‘Modi Govt. will soon understand truth cannot be silenced’: Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi: Showing solidarity with his party’s suspended lawmakers, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Monday said the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA Government will soon understand that truth cannot be silenced.

“The Modi Govt will soon understand that truth cannot be silenced.The ppl of India&Congress Party have shown this in case of land bill,” Rahul said in a series of tweets.

“Truth will not be silenced in the case of corruption scams either where the Prime Minister is protecting the guilty,” he said, adding, “We stand with each one of our suspended MPs #BlackDayForIndianDemocracy.”

Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan today suspended 25 MPs for disturbing proceedings under ruling 374 (A).

The lawmakers, who have been suspended, include Gaurav Gogoi, Sushmita Dev,Deepender Hooda, and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury. (ANI)
