Job Description:
Mobile Tester:
Develop capabilities in Mobile Internet testing space.
Arrange and provide training sessions to various associates
Test mobile commercial applications across multiple handsets adhering to carrier standard checklist.
Analyzes the functional and nonfunctional requirements and designs Test Scenarios and Test cases
Strong in writing and executing GUI, Functional, Regression, Security, and Performance related test cases in Mobility.
Actively investigate interesting new tools and techniques. Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause Identification and resolution
Document results of testing and report any defects in a clear and comprehensive manner. Monitor and update bug reports as needed including bug closure report.
Experience in Testing Mobile apps on various operating systems e.g. iOS, Android, Windows etc using various devices e.g. Apple, Blackberry, Nokia, Android etc
Experience in Mobile Application testing includes UI, Functional/Non-functional, Regression tests, Device compatibility tests, Performance tests, Security interoperability testing, Usability testing, language localization tests, Automated tests and others.
Test script writing, Using defect management tools like QC/Jira/ Bugzilla
Experience in API Middleware / Services Testing
Knowledge on Testing the app on Emulators
Excellent verbal and written communication skill
Good Analytical and logical problem-solving skills.
Good to have someone who has worked for a CoE in the past
Exposure to any programming languages such as C/C++/Java.
Experience in Financial /Insurance domain will be a plus.
Experience in Onsite/Offshore model
Exposure on Performance or Security or Device Testing or SOAP UI or Network protocols
Experience with automated testing tools Perfecto, Jmeter, QTP, Device Anywhere, Selenium See Test or any Mobile Automation Tool
Knowledge in Any of the scripting language
