Tension prevailed at Talab Katta old city when the body of a girl who mysteriously went missing was found in a sump. A large number of locals especially women gathered near the spot and expressed anger. They also staged protest before Bhawani Nagar police station and alleged negligence on part of the police.
It is said that 12-year-old Huda Fatima alias Nausheen went missing on August 11. Search operation was on. However her body was recovered on Friday from a sump in the under construction building. The girl was strangulated before throwing her in the sump.
Huda Fatima was the daughter of Syed Najmul Hasan R/O of Aman Nagar B. She was studying in a local private school. On August 11 at nearly 7:30 pm she went to purchase meat from the nearby shop. While she was returning some unknown persons kidnapped her. And later her dead body was found in the sump.
