Minister threatens to register cheating case against BJP chief

Forest Minister Jogu Ramanna on Wednesday advised Telangana BJP president G. Kishan Reddy to change his attitude towards TRS Government. Else, he threatened that a cheating case would be registered against him.

Speaking to media persons in Adilabad, Ramanna accused Kishan Reddy of misleading the farmers. He said that the Central Government decides the Minimum Support Prices of agricultural products. However, by blaming the State Government for the same, Kishan Reddy has been trying to provoke farmers. Further, he said that the Cotton Corporation of India decides the price and purchase cotton and the State Government has absolutely no role in it. But the BJP chief has been misleading the cotton farmers on this issue, he said.

The minister said that a cheating case would be registered against Kishan Reddy if he does not stop misleading farmers. He also claimed that the State Government was taking all measures to prevent farmers from committing suicide. (INN)
