Mumbai: Chennaiyin registered their second win of the tournament after claiming a 2-0 win over Mumbai City in the second edition of the Indian Super League, thanks to Stiven Mendoza’s twin strikes at the DY Patil Stadium here on Friday.
The Colombian striker broke the deadlock in the 60th minute before he added his second goal six minutes later.
With the win, Chennaiyin are third in the points table, while Nicolas Anelka’s team will have to regroup his squad as Mumbai City have a run of another four games at home.
