MEJAC demands ordinance for 12% Muslim reservations

Telangana State Minorities Employees Joint action committee has demanded that the Chief Minister of Telangana Mr. K Chandrasekhar Rao immediately fulfil the election promise made by him and provide 12 percent reservations to Muslims in Telangana state and also pass ordinance regarding 12 % Muslim reservations in the assembly to pave way for providing 12 % reservations to Muslims in all the fields.

Chairman Mr. M A Farooq Ahmed, Secretary General Mr. M A Nayeem and Co-convenor Dr. M A Khan told this during a press conference here. They told that Sachar Committee and Ranganathan Commission reports have revealed the miserable educational and economic condition of Muslim minorities in the country saying that Muslims are more backward than the other backward classes of India despite that the ruling governments didn’t pay attention towards the educational and economic problems faced by Muslims.
