MBT to observe Black Day in T & AP

Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT) has announced that it will observe black day on December 6 in both Telugu States — Andhra Pradesh and Telangana — marking the Babri Masjid desecration.

Speaking to the media here on Thursday, MBT Chief Dr Khayyum Khan and former corporator Amjadullah Khan said the MBT party has been observing black day on December 6 every year in protest against the desecration of Babri Masjid. They asked the secularists to extend solidarity to their black day by erecting black flags on their houses.

Alleging that the MIM, which was giving an impression that it was working for the welfare of the Muslims, they alleged that MIM leaders Asaduddin Owaisi and Akbaruddin Owaisi faced embarrassing situation by working as agents of the BJP in Bihar by separating secular votes. They lamented that the police were obstructing the public meetings of the MBT in collusion with the MIM leaders.

Urging the Muslims and secularists to teach a lesson to the MIM party in Hyderabad too as was done in other States, the MBT leaders demanded that the TRS government control the speed of Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh. Most of the victims of Raja Singh were Hindu businessmen only, they said and asked the State government to initiate tight security measures to the Beef Festival to be held on December 10 at the Osmania University to control the BJP leaders.
