Maulana Azad did not compromise on Religion for political issues

Hyderabad: Maulana Azad did not compromise his religion for the sake of political gains. It is not true that he changed his ideology according to the policies of Congress. He was a staunch Muslim and firm in his faith. He never wanted the partition of India. Today, a communal party is ruling India. In every nook and corner of the country, there is a atmosphere of intolerance. In such a situation, the Muslims of this country feel that they are insecure. These thoughts were expressed by Mr. M.A. Khan, Congress MP of Rajya Sabha while addressing a seminar held in connection with Maulana Azad’s birthday yesterday at Urdu Ghar, Moghalpura. The topic of the seminar was “The relevance of Maulana Azad in the present day context”. Mr. Arifuddin Ahmed welcomed the guests. Mr. G. Narayana Ra, Ms. Abida Sultana, Mr. Muneeruddin Ahmed, Dr. Mohammed Junaid Zakir, Dr. Shaik Siyadath Ali, Dr. Mohammed Nazim Ali, Dr. Sabiha Nasreen participated in the seminar as the guests of honour.
