Mathaiah seeks nominated posts to Christians in both Telugu States

Claiming that prayers by Christians in both the Telugu States brought about amity between AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his Telangana counterpart K. Chandrasekhar Rao, All India Dalitha & Christian Sanghala Samakya national secretary Jerusalem Mathaiah has demanded that both the CMs strive for welfare of the Dalits and Christians.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Thursday, Mathaiah demanded that the TDP government initiate steps to nominate an Anglo-Indian as an MLA in Andhra Pradesh. He also demanded nominated posts to Christians and steps to protect churches, Christian graveyards and pastors. He also urged the TRS government to sanction funds for construction of a Christian Bhavan, financial assistance to Christians for pilgrimage to Jerusalem, nominated posts and an MLC post besides taking steps for the welfare of Christians in the State.
