MasterChef’s 2.5 hr long finale frustrates audiences

Melbourne: MasterChef 2015 finale might have given the world its best cook but the wait to see the judgment was bit too long for the audience as the running time of the finale blew out to nearly two and a half hours.

The long duration of the final battle between Billie McKay and Georgia Barnes, which was won by McKay, became the reason for audience’s criticism on social media, reported News.com.au.

Commenting on the length of the finale show’s former winner Adam Liaw tweeted, “When they said it was a five-hour challenge I didn’t think they were going to show it in real time. #MasterChefAU”

Meanwhile, a fan tweeted, “The Masterchef finale has been so long that George’s Greek stubble has turned into a three day growth” (ANI)^
