The Marketing Manager is primarily responsible for:
– Planning & execution of marketing activities within the available resources to generate enquiries at dealerships to achieve the sales objectives.
– Planning & execution of all lead management activities as per MB India directives.
He is also responsible to liaison with the MMC team of MB India for implementing various marketing programs at dealership & give feedback on a regular basis.
o Basics: MBA / PGDBM
o Experience (type of): 5 6 years experience in marketing / advertising / events ( preferably with auto / consumer durable / FMCG sector)
o Specialized Knowledge: Clear thinking capabilities, Ability to align activities towards goals and Sales targets, Communication skills, Customer oriented attitude, Ability to coordinate with external agencies, team player, ability to handle customer queries/complaints, analytical skills, Event management skills
Roles and Responsibilities:
Operating Head / Dealer Principle & Sales team
Understand the sales objectives of the dealership and communicate the marketing needs accordingly.
Plan marketing activities based on the needs of market + organization
Keep the dealership abreast of competitor marketing activities
Plan the marketing calendar including budgeting as per MBIL guidelines and directives.
Timely feedback on the execution of marketing activities
Be a one point of contact between the dealership and MBIL regarding all aspects of marketing
MBIL – MMC
Regular communication with MBIL marketing communications team for all aspects of marketing and CRM activities at dealership level
Sharing of quarterly and monthly marketing plans as per the formats and timelines communicated by MBIL.
Discuss and obtain approvals on marketing plans prior to execution.
Approvals on the ideas/ creatives. Adherence to MBIL CI guidelines.
Regular feedbacks on the dealership and competitor activities.
Quarterly marketing reports/claims including planned actual expenditure post activity evaluations.
Sharing of information and ideas to promote Mercedes Benz products.
Co ordination with corporate communication team MBIL for any media related activities, press conferences, product launches etc.
Communication with various publications, event agencies and other organizations for marketing opportunities.
1 Planning of a marketing calendar & lead management activities
Detailed planning of ATL and BTL activities for dealership to achieve targeted prospects. Should be done in coordination with marketing communications team of MBIL.
Inputs from sales team + market for the planning the enquiry target and test drive plan.
Planning of all lead management activities – enquiry registration in the system, tele calls for marketing campaigns.
Optimum use of the available resources to be made.
Planning to focus upon the minutest details of the market product competitor activities.
2 Execution of the activities
Execute activities to achieve desired results.
Enquiry reporting to MBIL as per the directives.
Coordinate closely with MB team for any support.
Ensure adherence of CI guidelines while executing all activities.
3 Feed back to MMC + Dealership
On marketing activities + sales update
On competitor activities
On activities executed by MBIL such as events + ad campaigns
Prepare a post activity report after each event on Things gone right & Things gone wrong
Maintenance of the records of the activities carried out for future reference.
Regular update on the product & communication of various marketing initiatives to the sales team.
Regular update on the market consumer behavior
Will to work towards the goal with high level of motivation
Thinking , planning and execution of activities with high level of commitment towards the organization.
Salary:INR 3,50,000 – 8,00,000 P.A
