MANUU starts Azad Day celebrations today

Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University is starting Maulana Azad Day celebration today. The march for integration will start at 7:45 a.m. today from Shah Ali Banda cross roads. It will end at MANUU Model High School, Falaknuma. City Police Commissioner, Mr. M. Mahendra Reddy will flag off the race.

At 2 p.m. today, Baithbazi competition will be held at CPDUMT Auditorium. On 5th November, blood donation camp would be organized from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. At 10 a.m. a symposium would be held at Syed Hamid Library Auditorium in which noted historian, A.G. Norani will deliver his address. The other speakers include Mr. Irfan Engineer, Dr. S.A. Wahab, Dr. Ayesha Farooqui. At 2:30 p.m. Atakshari program would be held at DDE Auditorium. At 4 p.m. Mr. A.G. Norani will interact with the students of MANUU at Syed Hamid Library Auditorium. At 5 p.m. a drama “Azad Logs” would be staged.

At 3 p.m. on 6th November, Elocution competitions would be at Syed Hamid Library Auditorium. At the same a parallel program of General Knowledge and Quiz would be held in DDE Auditorium. A documentary on Maulana Azad would be screen at 6 p.m. in the evening at DDE Auditorium. Interschool Essay writing competitions would be held at 10 a.m. on 7th November at DDE Auditorium. At 10 a.m. on 8th November a cultural program of the children of staff members would be held at DDE Auditorium. At 10 a.m. on 9th November, handicrafts festival would be held on the lawns of lecture hall building. National Education Day would be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on 13th November. Noted scientist of Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Dr. Ahmed Kamal will deliver a lecture at DDE Auditorium. Games and sport competition would be held 10th November. The regional centers of MANUU in various parts of the country will also arrange Maulana Azad Day celebrations at their respective places.
