Manjhi’s decision will help remove ‘jungle raj’ from Bihar: BJP

New Delhi, Sept. 14: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Giriraj Singh on Monday said that former Bihar chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi’s decision on seat sharing will help in removing ‘jungle raj’ from Bihar.

“Manjhi is one of the leaders of NDA and whatever decision he takes will benefit the NDA because ‘jungle raj’ needs to be removed from Bihar,” Singh told ANI.

Singh further said that talks are going on with all parties in the alliance and no one holds any bitterness towards Manjhi.

“NDA is a symbol against the ‘jungle raj’ in Bihar. We all are NDA who do not want maladministration. Manjhi will have to make announcement and he will do it today,” he added.

Manjhi, who had initially agreed to go with the BJP president Amit Shah’s efforts to settle the seat-sharing, is now reportedly looking for more than 15 seats.

Polls for the 243-member Bihar Assembly will be held in five phases starting on October 12 and ending on November 5. Counting of votes will take place on November 8.
