Manager – Contracts Management and Claims

Job Description:

Well familiar with conditions of Contract such as GCC, SCC & FIDIC
Interpretation of various Contract conditions and clauses
Suggestions to Project teams & Management on implications of Contract conditions and impact on Projects.
Ensuring timely submissions of Extension of time requests to HMRL and follow up till approval.Ensuring Contract Administration in Co-ordination with ERAs and Vendors
Conducting site investigation to verify Variation with respect to data provided by the vendor to ascertain possibility of any genuine claim due to changed conditions
Assistance to Project teams in day to day Contract Administration and follow up.
Ensuring finalization of claims and extra items in consultation with ERAs, clients and consultants.
Ensuring safe custody of Contract Documents in Office
Correspondence with Clients and Contractors/Consultants
Checking and Scrutiny of all important Contract Documents.
Finalize all Conditions of Contracts being awarded to Sub-Contractors
Monitoring of Claims initiating corrective action for delays, advising management and ERAs for methods and sequences.
Ensure that all documents as per Contract clause are submitted to the client / consultant within the stipulated time.
Submission of proposals & receipt of approvals pertaining to changes in conditions, EOT, Completion reports etc.,
Recording any additional or extra over and above the basic scope of work and timely raising the matter with client and follow up till approval
Raising claims based on client authorised changes made in the Scope of Contract
Providing detailed work-out and back-up documentation to substantiate the Claim to obtain Client’s acceptance
