A 22-year-old woman was throttled to death allegedly by her husband.
According to Jawaharnagar police, the victim, Renuka, was throttled to death by her husband Venkatesh at their residence in Yellareddyguda on Wednesday night. They were married about two years ago. However, Venkatesh used to suspect the fidelity of his wife and consequently, he allegedly murdered her.
A case of murder has been registered against Venkatesh, who is said to be absconding. (INN)
