Man injured in bomb blast in Kolkata

Kolkata: A middle-aged man was seriously injured when a crude bomb burst in the city on Tuesday.

Police said the man had ventured out of his makeshift shop at the crossing of CIT Road and Ramkrishna Samadhi Road at around 2.45 pm.

Police had launched investigation into the blast and how the bomb came to be there.

The injured was being treated at Nil Ratan Sarkar Medical College and hospital, the police added.
