A 35-year-old man died after falling down from a running train.
According to Kachiguda Railway Police, the deceased, Shaik Iqbal, accidentally fell down from the Guntur Passenger Train near Yakutpura Railway Station on Monday evening. He died on the spot. He was a chappal worker and resident of Tondpally near Shamshabad.
In another case, a 49-year-old man died on the spot after being hit by a train while crossing the tracks between Falaknuma and Uppuguda railway stations on Monday evening. The Kachiguda Railway Police later identified the deceased as Amarnath, a labourer and resident of Krishna Reddy Nagar of Uppuguda. (INN)
