Mala Mahanadu protestors held at TRS Bhavan

Activists of Mala Mahanadu here on Friday attempted to lay a siege to the TRS Bhavan at Banjara Hills.

They resorted to the action in protest against Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari leading an all-party delegation to New Delhi on the issue of categorisation of Scheduled Castes. However, the Banjara Hills police rushed to the spot and took them into custody and whisked them away to the police station.

Speaking on the occasion, Mala Mahanadu State president Chennaiah said they would show their power to the ruling party during the ensuing GHMC elections. He also warned that the TRS government would suffer a huge blow if the ruling party tried to ignite ill-feelings between the Malas and Madigas for political gain. (NSS)
