Makkah Crane Accident: Two more bodies found; Ten bodies still unidentified

Makkah: Two more bodies of the victim of Makkah Crane Accident are recovered under the debris of the crashed crane. According to the sources ten bodies of the victim of Makkah Crane Accident are still unidentified. Death toll in the accident reached to 109 after the recovery of two more bodies.

Indians comprised the largest number of casualties with 13 which is followed by Pakistanis with 12.

Civil Defense in Makkah who recovered two more bodies from under the debris of the crashed crane informed that the two victims are from Malaysia. Civil Defense Spokesman, Brig. Abdullah Al-Harthi said that his team on Monday recovered two more bodies after dismantling parts of the crane.

He said that the officials are facing challenge in identifying bodies because they are in pieces and we are trying to use thumb impressions to identify them. He also claimed that there is a possibility that more bodies are yet to be recovered under the crane debris.
