Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali has expressed sorrow over delay in release of Overseas Scholarship. He assured selected candidates that the amount of first instalment will be released shortly.
Speaking to media persons Mohammed Mahmood Ali referred to the complaints received from various quarters regarding delay in release of scholarship and said that he felt sorry that despite selection of students, the first instalment could not be issued to the beneficiaries due to reasons unknown. He strictly directed the officials to release the first instalment within two days at any cost. He assured that students who have submitted all required documents need not worry as there would be no further delay in release of amount for them.
Mr. Mahmood Ali expressed anger over not releasing the amount to the 137 selected candidates of Hyderabad and said that a memo has been sent to concerned officials in this connection asking them to release the first instalment by Thursday.
