Job Description:
We are recruiting a highly qualified “Machine Vision Scientist” into the Core Technology Team, to help in the continued expansion of our technology in Affective Computing. We are looking for intelligent, enthusiastic software engineers and computer scientists, with a PhD and background in machine learning, ideally with a strong focus on AI and Deep Learning. Excellent software engineering ability is vital to take academic theory through to a practical working system.
ABOUT YOUR JOB
Your key responsibilities / accountability will consists of (but are not limited to):
Leading and conducting advanced research for Computer Vision technologies.
Innovating and developing algorithms and solutions to advance Machine Learning.
Developing proof-of-concept implementations, prototypes and demos to fine-tune technologies to practical, state-of-the-art systems.
ABOUT YOU
Master Degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field.
Strong knowledge of computer vision, computer graphics and human computer interaction ( HCI ).
Excellent programming skills using C / C++ with a solid understanding of software development principles. GPU programming CUDA and/or OpenCL . Open CV and / or other machine vision toolkits.
3+ years of development and prototyping experience using real-time computer vision and graphic systems.
ANNs, DBN, CNNs, RBMs, “deep-learning” with frameworks such as Theano
