Lord Venkateswara has blessed Amaravati: Naidu

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu said that with the blessings of Lord Venkateswara he considered himself fortunate to be at fore front in building a world class capital with all global urbanization standards was being constructed at Amaravati.

Amaravati will be world famous capital city not only for its global urban standards but also aesthetic values and e-hub, he said.

Chandrababu Naidu said the capital formation was blessed by Lord Venkateswara and the holy soil and holy water from the Seven Hills was being sent for capital building. ‘We are procuring soil and water from all the holy and historic places across the country so that the sacrifices of prominent freedom fighters and achievers will inspire us in the formation of the new capital for AP.

He said there was positive and overwhelming response for the campaign of ‘ Mana Matti-Mana Neeru- Mana Amaravati- Mana  Ituka’ from all over  state, country and also overseas. Thanking all those who suported the case of Amaravati the chief minister also congratulated the officials of TTD for their stellar performance in collecting holy water and holy soil from the sacred thirthams and  seven peaks of  tirumala.

After darshan of Lord Venkateswara with his family members Chandrababu and his colleagues brought the containers comprising of holy water, holy soil collected from seven hills and seven historic locations in tirumala hill range to Vaibhotsavam mandapam, outside the temple for the onward journey to Amaravati.

TTD Chairman Dr Ch Krishnamurthy, EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao, JEO KS Sreenivasa Raju, Supdt of Police Gopinath Jatti, Board Members Dr Hariprasad, DP Anantha, Smt Suchitra Ella, Temple DyEO Chinnamgari Ramana, Peishkar R Selvam and others were present on the occasion. (INN)
