Lehmann reveals Haddin will move into coaching

Johannesburg, Sept.18 : Australian coach Darren Lehmann has revealed that former wicketkeeper Brad Haddin will move into coaching, insisting that they want him to pass his knowledge to the next generation.

Haddin recently announced his retirement from international cricket in the wake of the Ashes series defeat against England.

Forty-five-year-old Lehmann was quoted by Sports24, as saying that Australia don’t want to lose a great cricketer who had been an important part of the team not too long ago.

Lehmann further said that Haddin coaching the team will provide a great platform to him for the future.

Haddin scored 3,266 runs at an average of 32.98 from 66 Tests. (ANI)
