More leaders join TRS, KTR chides Oppn

Switching loyalties to the ruling TRS was going on unabated in the twin cities and districts. Leaders from other parties from Khairatabad, Malkajgiri and Amberpet segments today joined the TRS in the presence of Ministers K T Rama Rao, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, and TRS GHMC president Mynampally Hanmantha Rao at Telangan Bhavan here.

KTR invited them into the TRS fold by offering them party’s traditional pink shawl. Speaking on the occasion, Srinivas Yadav said all the roads in Hyderabad were leading to the TRS. There will be no chance for other parties to win the elections in Hyderabad except the ruling party, he claimed. He also criticized the Congress for saying that MLC seats were won by the TRS by luring the leaders with money.

Many leaders and activists from other parties were joining the TRS for transforming the State into golden Telangana under the stewardship of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, he said. Yadav lashed out at the Opposition for alleging that the ruling party was luring the leaders and encouraging defections. “Unanimous win in the MLC polls is equal to what the leaders believe in the development of the State”, he said.

The leaders were showing interest in the TRS for its priority to welfare and development programs,he said. As the Opposition has no strength to fight and win the elections, they were resorting to make false allegations for their political survival, the minister added. “The TRS will do everything as per process and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was according priority to the welfare of the State, he said, adding that the Opposition leaders were noted for being sold.
