BJP MLA and floor leader in Assembly Dr K Lakshman today called upon party activists to get ready for GHMC elections and strive for victory of the party.
Addressing party workers at Greater Hyderabad office at Barkatpura here on Wednesday, Lakshman said in view of the GHMC elections, coordinator in every Assembly constituency would be appointed. Meetings would be organized at division level and area wise would to identify people’s problems in every locality. The party would also organize padayatras and try to bring problems to the notice of the State government.
The meeting was chaired by party’s Greater Hyderabad president B Venkat Reddy and attended by party’s executive members, conveners and former corporators. The party would be strengthened from booth level for the GHMC elections, he said, adding that there would be a meeting in five assembly constituencies in the first phase in the city soon.(NSS)
