Lack of Islamic knowledge reason behind increasing numbers of Talaq incidents

Hyderabad, July 03: Minority Welfare Department set up Counselling Centre at Hajj House to settle marital disputes among minorities. The office of the counselling centre is located at 4th floor of Hajj House.

Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali inaugurated the counselling Centre. He told that the centre has been set up to settle marital dispute outside court. He informed that a 7-member committee has been constituted to provide guidance at the counselling centre. Government will give some powers to the committee under which it can issue notice to the parties.

Chairman 7-member committee Retd. Judge E-Ismail claimed that the rise in numbers of divorce incidents was due to lack of Islamic knowledge.
