KTR Urges Industrialists For Telangana Development

Painting a “Rosy” picture on Telangana State development plan, Information Technology and Panchayat Raj Minister K T Rama Rao today exhorted the corporate honchos and bigwigs of businesses, companies and industries to participate in Telangana State development by investments and providing jobs to local talent.
Inaugurating a Summit on Corporate Social Responsibility conducted by Software Enterprises at HICC here, the Minister asked the corporate companies to give something back to society and homeland they belong to and people grow along.
The State Government was keeping its promise of providing power supply by taking all measures, he said and assured that the industries and companies would get uninterrupted power supply. He also claimed that the government came up with first of its kind single window system of offering all permissions in just 12 days through TSIPASS to the industries, businesses, companies and startups.
The Government was taking up the flagship program of water grid to provide safe and potable water to every household, he said adding that work was in full swing to complete the water grid project in three years and in another six months water will be supplied in some chosen districts.
Hyderabad city will get drinking water from Krishna and Godavari Rivers, he said. The city will get world class look as efforts were being made for roads and infrastructure development to ease traffic flow and frequent jams, he said. Hyderabad, he said, will get a facelift by spending Rs 20,000 crore for developing its roads. The Minister listed out the schemes and programs like lakes restoration through Mission Kakatiya for supplying timely water to crops to get better yield. Also Palle Pragathi and Grama Jyothi programs were taken at a fast pace for rural development, KTR stated.
To protect environment from pollution and attract more rains on time the government encouraging Harithaharam – a plantation program on a massive scale, the Minister asserted. He also stated that they have taken up individual toilets construction in his Siricilla Assembly Constituency in Karimnagar district. The minister appealed to the corporate companies and industries to join the government in developing the state for a golden Telangana. (NSS)
