KTR holds Grama Jyothi review

Cabinet sub committee chairman for “Grama Jyohti” program and Panchayat Raj Minister KT Rama Rao today exhorted Zilla Parishat Chairmen, ZPTCs, MPPs and MPTCs to work in tandem for all round village development through Grama Jyothi a new flagship program. To take forward Constitutional spirit for achieving overall development of rural pockets “Grama Jyohti”is being launched KTR stated.

At a video conference along with committee members, E Rajender, P Srinivas Reddy, T Nageshwar Rao, Jogu Ramanna and planning commission deputy chairman Niranjan Reddy here KTR asked them to give suggestions to be added to a report on Grama Jyothi program. Stating that they have concern on workers strike in districts, he said that they will a solution to it through the new program and asked the collectors concern to sort out the issue through a discussion.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will hold a video conference with Collectors, JCs, SPs and other officials on July 30 at 10.30 am he said adding that collective efforts will make success the program. The Centre appreciated the way the 70 per cent of public in Telangana coming forward to pay taxes he said and asked them to show similar spirit to develop the villages.

The government is committed to offer fruits of development to those 60 per cent of people living in villages he said. Grama Jyothi, he said, is aimed at strengthening the villages by involving people and leaders should come up with suitable suggestions KTR asserted.(NSS)
