Telangana State BJP president G Kishan Reddy has demanded that the TRS government announce the list of drought affected mandals immediately.
Kishan Reddy participated in the Maha Dharna organized in Nizamabad on Monday. The Nizamabad BJP organized a rally in the town before the Dharna asking the farmers not to commit suicides.
Addressing the gathering, Kishan Reddy alleged that the TRS government was least bothered about the farmers, who were facing severe drought conditions. He said it was painful that the government was not responding even after 1,200 farmers committed suicides in the State. He lashed out at Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for not responding on suicides in Medak district. He made it clear that the BJP would accost the government in the coming Assembly session. (NSS)
