KCR acting like MIM’s puppet, alleges BJP

Telangana BJP president G Kishan Reddy today accused Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao of becoming a tool in the hands of Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) party.

Speaking to media persons, the BJP leader said the incidents of farmers’ suicides were increasing in the State. He also said his party would distribute CDs containing promises made by KCR to every house. He demanded that the government celebrate September 21 as “Liberation Day” officially.

Kishan hails actor Mahesh Babu

Meanwhile, Kishan Reddy appreciated Tollywood actor Mahesh Babu’s decision to adopt a backward village in Mahbubnagar district. In his tweet, the BJP leader wished Mahesh Babu a great success. Mahesh Babu has announced he would adopt a village in Mahbubnagar district following a request by Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Ramarao, who asked the former to adopt a village in view of the resounding success of his latest film “Srimanthudu”. Mahesh Babu also adopted his father’s native village Burripalem in Andhra Pradesh as part of Smart Village Program launched by the Andhra Pradesh government. (NSS)
