Kejriwal’s visit to Bihar ‘an attack on soul of anti-corruption movement’: Yogendra Yadav

New Delhi, Aug 27: Former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) member Yogendra Yadav on Thursday lashed out at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for supporting his Bihar counterpart Nitish Kumar, saying it is an attack on the soul of the anti-corruption movement.

“This is shocking and insulting. It is an attack on the soul of the anti-corruption movement which has brought Aam Aadmi Party where it is today,” Yadav told ANI.

“Supporting Nitish Kumar, who is a leader of a corrupt regime in Bihar at a time when there is a presence of other corrupt people like Lalu Yadav and Congress Party is a setback moment for fight against corruption. Is this the honest politics that we have been dreaming and talking about?”he asked.

Kejriwal is presently in Patna today to carry forward his ties, which was so far restricted to warm and frequent meetings in Delhi, with Nitish Kumar.

Kejriwal was shown black flags by the protestors, who claimed to be the supporters of veteran social activist Anna Hazare, on his arrival at the Patna airport today.

The protestor alleged that Kejriwal has betrayed Hazare. (ANI)
