Kejriwal thanks AAP volunteers for party’s growth

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on the occasion of the party completing its three years on Thursday thanked the volunteers for their continuous efforts in its growth.

“AAP is where it is today thanks to the efforts of thousands of tireless volunteers. On #3YearsOfAAP I salute their dedication,” Kejriwal, who is also the chief minister of Delhi, tweeted.

The AAP was formally launched on November 26, 2012, and is currently the ruling party of Delhi.

In the Delhi assembly elections of 2015, the AAP won 67 of the 70 seats in the house. Its chief opponent, the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP), was reduced to just three seats, and the Congress which ruled in the city for three consecutive terms failed to get even a single seat.
