Kejriwal draws flak from BJP over his ‘Make India’ comments on PM Modi

New Delhi, Sept 27 : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday criticised Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over his comments on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Make in India project.

“Kejriwal is not doing his work properly, he has the dilemma of being overambitious, and that is why he uses such kind of cheap language for Prime Minister Modi. He only has a political agenda,” Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly Vijendar Gupta, told ANI.

“People want him to work in Delhi and to focus on ‘Make in Delhi’ and leave the country for Prime Minister Modi,” he added.

Gupta also said that Prime Minister Modi was working round the clock for the development of the nation whereas Kejriwal was involved in cheap politics just to remain news.

BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi further criticised Kejriwal, saying he suffers from “obsessive compulsive disorder”.

“Make India can only happen after Make in India. He is unable to Make Delhi, so on what grounds does he claim to Make India,” she added.

Lekhi also said that Kejriwal should work for Delhi since people in the capital were not getting any respite from dengue or other problems.

Union MoS for Culture Mahesh Sharma said Kejriwal has the habit of being in the news.

“History will remember Kejriwal only for his posters and tweets, as he not done any groundwork,” he added.

Sharma advised Kejriwal to work for Delhi and allow Prime Minister Modi to work for the country.

Kejriwal indirectly criticised Prime Minister Modi for his United States, saying “begging” for investments from the world won’t take his “Make in India” project forward. (ANI)
