KCR to visit Durga temple, may meet Naidu

Telangana Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao is to visit Goddess Kanaka Durga in Vijayawada on Wednesday and keep his earlier promise of donating to the presiding deity a gold ornament “Golden Nose Ring” (Bangaru Mukku Pudaka). The chief minister is to visit the temple to complete the ceremony and will also meet his Andhra Pradesh counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu and invite him for his “Ayutha Chandi Yagam. Thus, it is two birds at a shot for the KCR’s visit to Krishna district for second time after bifurcation. Earlier KCR was the VIP at Amaravathi foundation laying ceremony.

As per the grapevine, to avoid wrong signals in the wake of MLC and GHMC elections, KCR did not meet Naidu when he was in Hyderabad on Sunday. Though some of the TRS leaders reportedly opposing, KCR is firm to invite Naidu for the Chandi Yagam.(NSS)
